Why do we as writers have such a hard time taking criticism? Especially early on, it seems like the most difficult thing in the world for a writer to take what others mean to be positive criticism. Granted, that is a generalization because not everyone gives these comments to help you grow. Some people are genuinely just rude and unhelpful. But, if you find yourself taking even the constructive criticism hard, here are some tips on how to work through your issues and take these comments for what they are; helpful comments to help make your work even better.
